a time to read
Yesterday, our baby and I went shopping. No, we didn't buy clothes or baby thingies, it would be too early for that. Our baby's on his/her 18th week yet and we still don't know if the baby's a girl or a boy. We'll reserve the shopping for baby thingies when we know if it's a he or a she. What we did buy is something that will play a big part in securing our baby's future. And of course, we wouldn't want to be robbed blind so today, I spent most of my free time doing some research on the stuff that we bought and how we can profit from it. I read news articles, disclosures and even blog posts of people wanting to get rich and are actually doing something to achieve it. A day isn't enough to know everything about something. I think it would take me everyday to know a few things about that something. So I am resolving myself to take at least an hour or so a day to read / research about that something that we'll help us secure our baby's future. Besides, reading is good for our baby. By Friday, our little angel will be on his/her 19th week and will be able to hear me. So, I can maybe read him/her stories, share some articles, etc... And we can listen to music. And he'll/she'll hear daddy on the phone. Yey!
